Video-marketers will cut the length of their content

Short-form based videos have taken the marketing world by storm, and we predict it will carry over into 2023. A staggering 90% of marketers using short-form video will increase or maintain their investment in the next year, and 1 in 5 marketers plan to use short-form video for the first time in 2023.

While long videos can offer audiences depth and a lot of information about a product, brand or service, B2C and B2B marketers have learned that getting to the point with short videos can actually be much more effective.

Not only does it take less time to create a short video, but this type of format lends itself well to the fast-paced attention spans of online audiences across different demographics. This is likely why platforms like TikTok, Reels and - in previous years - Snapchat have seen rapid growth and marketing interest.
